These terms apply to the BASSHEAD NEMO LLC website, its free box builder, wiring guide, and educational content.

Using the website

Use the website lawfully and without disrupting it, bypassing access controls, introducing malicious code, or misrepresenting your affiliation with BASSHEAD NEMO LLC. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the website or tools.

Tools and calculation limits

The tools provide general planning estimates and visual guidance. They are not a certified engineering design, inspection, or guarantee of fit, performance, sound output, or equipment safety. Results depend on the measurements and equipment information you enter.

The basic box builder uses rectangular enclosures, square butt joints, a single front baffle, and full front/back cap panels. Its port options are a straight round tube or a straight, full-height slot. Tuning uses a simplified acoustic model; actual tuning can change with port shape, shared walls, flares, placement, and construction. The tool does not model driver response, port air speed, bracing strength, driver basket clearance, or mounting depth. Panel dimensions exclude saw kerf.

The wiring guide assumes identical subwoofers and voice coils connected to one mono amplifier output. The calculated load is nominal impedance, not a multimeter’s DC-resistance reading. The amplifier warning only compares the calculated load with the minimum rating you enter; it does not verify that rating or approve the installation. Bridged and multiple-amplifier systems are outside its scope.

Check before building or powering up

Verify all dimensions, cutouts, material thickness, panel alignments, clearances, displacement, and equipment specifications before cutting. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Confirm every wiring connection and amplifier impedance rating before powering the system. Disconnect power before electrical work and use suitable wiring, grounding, fusing, and secure mounting. Use appropriate protection for cutting, drilling, dust, and loud sound. Obtain qualified installation help when needed.

Ownership and permitted use

You may use your generated measurements, cut lists, and wiring results for your own personal or commercial builds. Website code, branding, photos, and written content remain the property of BASSHEAD NEMO LLC or their respective owners. Do not republish the website, resell its software, or use BHN branding to imply endorsement without permission. Manufacturer and platform names belong to their respective owners.

Availability, warranties, and liability

The website and tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, BASSHEAD NEMO LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results.

To the extent permitted by law, BASSHEAD NEMO LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of this website or reliance on its estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits non-waivable consumer rights.

Third-party links are provided for convenience; their content and services are governed by their own terms. Coming Soon descriptions do not constitute an order, promised release date, or guarantee of final features. Paid products and merchandise, when available, will have their own purchase terms. We may update the website and these terms; changes will be dated on this page.

Email consultation services

Standard services can be purchased directly through checkout. Budget consultation packages: Quick Question ($5 USD) includes one question and response; Basic Advice ($10 USD) includes up to three exchanges; Mini Consultation ($20 USD) includes up to five exchanges. Budget packages cover one topic by email and exclude detailed calculations, digital box plans, and live calls. Focused email help ($40 USD) includes one detailed response and one clarification follow-up. A written system plan ($99 USD) includes a plan and two follow-up rounds. Build support ($199 USD) includes an initial written plan and five follow-up rounds within 30 days from the agreed start date. A round is one grouped customer email and one response. No phone sessions, instant replies, unlimited support, or automatic renewals are included. Extra work requires a separate agreement. Contact [email protected] about cancellations, refunds, or service concerns; applicable consumer rights remain in effect.

Standard box-design purchases

Sealed designs cost $50 USD, ported designs $89 USD, and basic wall designs $149 USD. These are custom digital plans for a rectangular enclosure, including dimensions, panel cut list, 3D reference, and single, double, or triple baffle and bracing choices. Subwoofer and port placement preferences are accommodated where practical and reviewed for the enclosure’s needs. Each purchase includes Basshead Nemo Six-Month Design Coverage as described below. Customers must provide accurate equipment details and usable dimensions. Physical construction, materials, shipping, installation, fourth- or sixth-order designs, molded vehicle fitment, and advanced fabrication are excluded. Major system expansions and new vehicles or projects require a separate design agreement. Fitment, tuning, and replacement-subwoofer updates for the original vehicle and project are covered for six months from purchase. If submitted equipment or measurements make the standard design unsuitable, we will contact you about corrections or cancellation and refund rather than add an unapproved charge.

Basshead Nemo Six-Month Design Coverage

For six months from purchase, your custom enclosure plans include free fitment revisions for corrected measurements, tuning revisions after listening, and updates for replacement subwoofers. Coverage applies to the original vehicle and project. Major system expansions require a new design. Materials, construction, shipping, and installation costs are not included. A revision may require modifying or rebuilding the enclosure; a replacement subwoofer may require a different box size or port layout.

To request a covered revision within the six-month period, email [email protected] with your order number, original plans, corrected measurements or replacement-subwoofer model, and the changes you want. No additional design fee is charged for covered revisions. We will review your requested changes and explain the needed plan adjustments. Coverage does not promise that every change can be made to the existing physical enclosure without rebuilding, or guarantee a specific listening result.
